In May 2021, we launched the Cultivating Real Life Campaign to raise $7.8 million for four new staff homes and a new base camp dining hall that would advance ministry opportunities throughout our La Grange campus.
As as result of His blessing and the generosity of over 300 families, all the buildings are now in use and we are working towards fully funding the campaign!

This GivingTuesday, we invite you to link arms with us and help us raise $165,000 to restore the Last Resort!
As of April 2024, the Last Resort renovations are complete! Now we invite you to help us reach the finish line on our fundraising goal to cover the costs! This two-sided cabin provides housing space for our Junior Staff and opens doors for us to serve nearly 200 more campers each summer!
Want to support Camp in a more consistent and intentional way? Members of the Development Council serve as supportive leaders of Camp Lone Star through prayer, advocacy, and financial giving.

- Action Teams: You can apply through Thrivent for up to $250 in seed money to support fundraisers and service activities at Camp Lone Star.

Ministry’s Greatest Need
God has given us an incredible environment to serve Him and you. Our desire is to be good stewards of the land, buildings, and programs that He has blessed us with. A gift in this category allows for us to allocate your gift wherever the need is greatest at that time.
Camperships
Giving the gift of Camp is one of the most impactful ways to support the ministry of Camp Lone Star. Each year, over $10,000 in scholarships are given to help individuals come to Camp who wouldn’t be able to otherwise afford it as a result of circumstances beyond their control. The average scholarship given is $200.
