Junior Staff | Summer 2026
Ever wanted to take your Camp Lone Star experience to another level? Our Junior Staff program allows you to do just that while serving others in a place that you love! Our Junior Staff are an important part of our summer camp experience and we would love for you to join us! Check out the responsibilities and qualifications below and if it sounds like a good fit for you, fill out an application TODAY!
Initial selections are made in February, then you will receive an email regarding your application status—but applications are still open!

Summer 2026 Sessions:
- Session 1: May 30-June 5 (1 Week)
- Session 2: June 6-19 (2 Weeks)
- Session 3: June 20-26 (1 Week)
- Session 4: July 5-17 (2 Weeks)
- Sunday 10am check-in
- Session 5: July 18-31 (2 Weeks)
Apply to Junior Staff this summer to:
- Be spiritually fed through daily Bible study
- Serve alongside other servant-hearted volunteers and Summer Staff members
- Gain valuable volunteer and work experience
- Grow in your confidence in who God made you to be
Junior Staff Responsibilities:
- Joyfully serve God and others in all situations
- Assist in serving meals in the dining hall
- Assist with general clean up, repair, and care of camp grounds and equipment
- Assist counselors with their campers throughout the week
- Provide a helping hand wherever needed
Junior Staff Qualifications:
- Have successfully completed 9th grade
- Be in good physical condition and have sufficient stamina to work long hours outdoors
- Be a dedicated Christian, ready to witness to others in every way and at all times
- Reflect Christ with your actions and attitude
